    Best Touch Screen for Tablets

I am looking for information, such as, Model, Manufacturers information for the best Tablets with the Best Touch Screens, such as, Digitizers, Wacom etc.

What is best for an over all experience. I want to know beyond just finger touch or simple fat finger stylus use.

At this time, my belief is that the Surface Pro has the best screen at the best price for this.

Honestly, it seems pretty much all the Windows 8 Pro tablet PCs have excellent touch screens, even the RT ones as well. I haven't personally tested any with a stylus, but the Surface Pro is the only tablet PC I've seen so far with Windows 8 that comes with a stylus. I THINK I've recently saw a Samsung tablet with Windows 8 that has a stylus though...

Basically, the general guideline for a good touch screen is no bezel. No tablet PC I've seen so far has one. From my toying around with touch and the Desktop, you'd probably want a stylus. But you can actually go into Display settings within the Control Panel and change the DPI to 125% and make the icons in File Explorer a tad larger, maybe make the window control buttons a bit bigger as well; along with defaulting the folder view to Large Icons over Details view. That will make the Desktop more finger friendly. The stylus will still need to be used for fine, precise control such as Photoshop.

And it still seems Wacom is the best for touch screens by far.

    Thanks for the info.

My desire is to find the best touch screens for fine stylus use, not so much for clicking icons, but general fine precision use.
Like I said, for the money, the Surface Pro seems to be the best right now with fine precision, pressure sensitive stylus type use.

All others seem to only use the generic fat finger stylus (that's what I call them) or a finger in general.

From what I can tell, none of the new tablets for Windows 8 are using any kind of Wacom

I am still learning about touch screens though.

Same here, I'm still learning what touch screen technology is best, and how to optimize Windows 8's Desktop properly for general touch interaction. I want to get rid of using a mouse, and rely on motion gesturing, speech and touch input. Live the future of the Natural User Interface!

As of now, yes, the Surface Pro seems to be the ONLY pressure sensitive tablet PC. I have a feeling there is another though.... Wait, I think that might be the Samsung Series 7. I know that one comes with a pressure sensitive Wacom stylus much like the Surface Pro.

Yeah, here is the Ativ,, more or less what I am talking about and looking for exclusively.
This IS the type of tech people should be looking for only in Touch Screens

Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro 700T (700T1C) | Samsung Tablet PCs

    and S Pen
ATIV Smart PC 500T Digitizer Pen (Blue)

But again, this is more expensive.
We will ahve to wait and see what the Surface Pro 128G will cost, but I am sure it will be cheaper than the Ativ.

The Dell Latitude 10 can be had with a Wacom digitizer. It also has a removable battery with a 4-cell option, and a great docking option.

I guess I should iterate, that I am also not look for any other processor than Core Processors, like an i5.
So the Latitude 10 won't cut it. But the XPS 12 does look nice, however, they don't go into much detail on the touch aspect of the screen.

And this is the Fat Finger Stylus I refer to. Targus Stylus AMM01US - Best Buy
