Got rid of my Linux Partition.... How do I restore Boot?

I had a dual boot installation of Windows 8 and PCLinuxOS. I needed more space so I got rid of the Linux. Now it won't boot since it is looking for GRUB which is an OS selector to enable Linux to run under windows. I feel so stupid. Please Help me.

    Thank You,

Boot from your Windows 8 DVD/Install Media.
Select Repair your computer then select open Command Prompt.

Type this on the Command Prompt:

    bootsect.exe /nt60 ALL

I did this in steam pc days and had to enter and amend a file, think it was boot.ini and delete a couple of lines of text, save, reboot, and no dual boot appeared. My laptop has dual boot because I have linux mint maya on it as a net contact in case windows ever goes totally to pot. Also there are some nice little retro games to play like beneath a steel sky!! Loads of software to download if required.

Boot.ini is not used anymore since Windows Vista, because now it uses BOOTMGR that relies on the data of the BCD.
