MSI GX660R Bluetooth not working

Hi there,

Have recently upgraded to Windows 8 but am finding that my bluetooth functions no longer work with the Windows 7 drivers.

When I turn on the bluetooth, it shows up in device manager, states the drivers are installed and functioning ok but does nothing. I get no notfication in the system tray and cannot send or receive files.

The bluetooth hardware is Cambridge Silicon Radio (BSMAN1 - MS-3801) and the software is Motorola Bluetooth.

Any help, drivers or advice is appreciated :)

Just checked your post, no I don't get any error message. It just that nothing happens. No notification to say Bluetooth is on, although it does show up in Device Manager and is running in Admin Tools > Services but isn't discoverable by my phone and nothing can be sent or received.

Is really annoying
