Hey all, I thought hardware the right place for this since it is what I am confused and worried about. A little info- I've ordered a new laptop rig coming preloaded with Windows 7. The hardware setup in question is a Raid 0 (2x500 7200hdd) with 64g mSATA caching SSD. I plan to shrink the volume with windows management and then install Windows 8 on the new partition.
How will this setup behave? Will the mSATA caching disk be shared by the two OS's and programs? Could this lead to conflict or degradation in performance? Or will it be ok since I will probably be using the same programs and files from one OS to the other? Or is this not even possible...
Thanks everyone!
Brian
