    New drivers for the Wacom tablets

    Hardware Drivers | Wacom

    There are new drivers available for the Wacom tablets.

    Version Number 5.32-1

    The changes are:

    The naming of the Start menu folder, the control panel and the Preferences Utility was changed from Bamboo to Wacom.
    This driver includes improvements of the touch experience for Bamboo and other improvements:

    1. Enhancements to touch gestures
    2. Fixed compatibility issue with Grahire Bluetooth
    3. Scrolling improvements in certain apps
    4. Fixed control panel crash issue when no tablet attached
    5. Other enhancements and bug fixes

I have a Samsung slate 7 and have just upgraded from Win 7 to Win 8. The digitizer pen while working in some aspects (ie. touch) it doesn't come up as an option to the virtual keyboard and doesn't open in MS Word 2010.
