flip movable drive into fixed drive in win 8

I have recently install win 8 in usb flash.
however, when start win, it show the USB as "removable" drive, and make me very hard for software installation.

I have tried cfadisk 64bit, but can't even update the drive since signature issue?

anyone knowing any tools can help for flipping it? thanks.

Why would you want to install a software on a removable USB drive?

I have installed complete win 8 into a USB, like "window to go"
so the software should install into USB, as same location as the USB win 8 does.

bad idea, every computer is different so the whole "to go" thing isn't gonna work, it's going to have the wrong drivers for every other computer you try it in...

and a USB drive is a removable drive no matter what you do so thats not going to change

On the Windows To Go environment it should show your USB Drive as "fixed".
cfadisk x64 will never work if you didn't select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement every time you boot.

at this point, I don't mind to disable signature at every startup,
but I can't even update driver from USB in win 8, so look for any other tools doing same job, but working in win 8.

To Install the driver, you need to be already booted to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement mode and edited the cfadisk .inf file.

Yes it does, have you tried changing the Hardware ID Line on the cfadisk.inf?

Make sure you already selected no. 7 before and after installing the driver.
In mine it worked perfectly, until I was sick of selecting no. 7 every start-up.

Successfully working now, I think my old file had problem. Thank for helping a lot.
