Touchpad and Fn key problems

Okay so I had to install a synaptics touchpad driver because ELAN touchpad is awful. This is a problem cause the synaptics driver is too sensitive and I can't adjust the settings at all. For my "Fn" key problem it just won't open the drop down that should appear at the top. What can I do to fix these problems?

Also with the ELAN touchpad it doesn't seem to work properly when playing certain games. let's say I'm playing a shooter game and I try to turn left or right while walking it doesn't turn unless I start running or standing still. Thanks for the help in advance.

P.S. the laptop is MSI G Series GE70 0ND-033U

No suggestions?

Screenshot by Lightshot That's a screenshot of my Synaptics settings and such. Can someone at least answer that for me?

that shows elan iss still installed ,doesn't show much else ,you need to hit the propertires to show more settings ,you need to uninstall elan before you install synaps ;oh and i hate touchpads ,i usually give up and use a mouse,im just a regular user though ,not a gamer.
and its holiday time in most of the world ,so it maybe awhile before good help arrives ,good luck

I gave up on Synaps cause everything I tried wouldn't fully install it. In the screenshot I posted it shows that I only have two options to select from in my settings and I can't do anything with them. I'm back to using ELAN touchpad now since it somewhat works fine now. I'm trying to figure out how to move my cursor while typing. Like what my first post said, Let's say I'm holding down W but my mouse cursor won't move allowing me to turn. I need to fix that issue now.

I've been using a trackpad over a mouse for a long time now. I guess I can't get any help with this issue then.

Seems like I got the trackpad issue fixed! I just have to figure out how to get my FN key to work again.
