In the past couple of days I have had some strange issues with a few applications, which eventually led me to a problem with printers and Print Spooler service. When I check under Settings then Printers, it's basically an empty folder. I then check Control Panel - Hardware & Sound - Devices & Printers, it hangs (with the mouse pointer in a little blue circular motion). I then check Services and restart Printer Spooler service, it "temporarily" fixes the problem, i.e. all the printers will then be properly displayed under Devices & Printers. However, the Printers folder remains empty. When I said "temporary", the fix lasts seconds. As soon as I close all the windows and screens, and try the same thing again, it recurs. Not sure if it's a problem with Print Spooler or something interfering with it, so any suggestion would be appreciated.
