Solved Windows doesn't show corrrect Processor Speed
I have Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 Ghz which I've overclocked to 3.4 Ghz.
The problem is that windows does not display the correct processor speed. It still shows 2.94 Ghz not 3.4 Ghz. I checked with various softwares and found the processor speed to be about 3.4 Ghz but windows just wont do it correctly. Please help!

Yes, I think so, it 'll only show the stock speed of the CPU.
EDIT:
Try SisSandra free version and it will show how much you have OCed.

if u really want to know y..
its coz windows 8 same as windows 7 show the default/standard procesor speed and if you use the real time monitor in windows it will show you only how much the proccesor runs on the moment.
only solution is to download a wizzard that shows the real time speed.
but i think u have allready done that
anyways hope that clear"s it up
