I tried it on my Win 7 64 bit system and it bombed installing. I had to power off the PC with the power switch and then had to run chkdsk as the SSD drive was corrupted. I tried it again, just to see and it bombed again and did not reinstall the video card driver as it left it at 640X480 resolution.

I had to restart and install the older version to get my system working again.

I have an AMD Radeon HD7770 video card.
I had to reinstall 12-10.

With all the problems, I'm not going to attempt to install it on my Win 8 system.

Oops. Sorry about that. I saw the 13.1 driver update and didn't see the "chipset" update.

I have just downloaded and saved the drivers to see if they are ZIPPED and the are not. I had bought a Samsung 840 pro 128 gb to use with a Gigabyte 970A-DS3 rev1 F4 and loaded win8 pro 64 with AHCI enabled in the BIOS before loading windows. I failed to update the firmware in windows so I had to use Samsungs boot from usb drive option. This meant temporarly moving windows onto another drive (I used the excellent Mini Tool Partition Wizard freeware ). Using the new AMD chipset drivers has trebled the mediocre AS-SSD scores to absolutely ripping speeds so I can say that the new Samsung really likes the new drivers.

Sigh.

I'm constantly getting buggy Modern UI menus out of random with the latest drivers. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't and gives me glitched menus.

It does seem to be helping in other areas, though.

Hello Kara,

The specs at the link below at Toshiba shows your Satellite S875-S7376 PC has a Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM processor, you would have an Intel chipset instead.
If you like, you could use the Intel driver update utility to have it check for the correct chipset driver for you.
Hope this helps, :)
Shawn

I'm afraid that I'm not familiar with using Photoshop with AMD graphics. Hopefully that will get sorted soon for you in your other thread for that issue.

New AMD 13.4 chipset driver released. See first post for more details. :)

That's all very nice but I DO NOT want to install graphic drivers only chipset ones. On the custom install menu it does not allow me to deselect that one. How's that chipset driver than ? When I cancel the installation and go to the folder it unzipped to there's no mention of drivers I want to upgrade and that's mostly the AHCI driver 'cause I'm having some issues with my SSD. And what the hey are graphic drivers doing there together with driver for chipset. ??
Gigabyte does not list any newer drivers for this chipset ( 870). I do not have an IGP nor my Ph IIx4 965 be suport it like APUs do. I have to use Legacy 12.6 win8 driver because CCC des not work with any other driver.
