First off, take a deep breath.

Windows 8 is new and different and functions differently than Windows' past. To try to help better, let's make a list of things you need quicker access to, say Documents.

By default, the Start Screen doesn't have the Documents library on it, odd I know. To quickly resolve this, go to the Desktop, open up File Explorer, it's the little file folder thing on the Taskbar. Then right click on the Documents library, and hit Pin to Start.

Then go to the Start Screen, scroll over to the end, and you will see the new Documents tile there. You can now drag that to where ever you want it to be.
