USB port problem

When i connect my phone on the front panel USB port i get info that device is unknown,but i when i connect it ti the back port it recognizes my phone...
Front USB worked fine few weeks ago,but now it doesn't recognize any device i plug into it...
Can someone help me solve this problem?

Check the cable that goes from those ports to your motherboard header. Make sure its connected correctly and that the cable is undamaged. Also have a good look at the ports to make sure there isn't any dust or lint etc blocking them. Also make sure the jacks haven't come loose from the case, if they are moving when you plug a USB cord in the USB plug may not be going in all the way.

Just to be clear, I'm talking about the internal cable that goes from the ports to your motherboard. Not the cable that goes to the phone.

Windows drivers, damaged USB ports on case, half-damaged USB controller (motherboard), damaged USB fuses...
