I just upgraded to windows 8 from 7 on my HP Envy15 with an i7 but i had a few things it said i need to re-install after i upgrade, HP Battery Management was one of them, which i though i re installed but im not sure if it worked because it still tried telling me i needed to update it after i installed it and my battery life seems terrible now...
The big one however is that i can no longer dim or brighten my screen with my F2 or F3, it wont brighten or dim through power management or even when you swipe left and go into settings.. the screen is stuck on one brightness and this might be whats killing my battery. I read a few things and some said i need to update my drivers or downgrade them, i have no idea how to do this or if you guys know of any other way to fix this problem, its really frustrating me though so please HELP, thank you!
