Each time I boot Windows 8 Pro I get a warning message in my System Event log. The warning is:

"A multi-touch device reported inconsistent contact information."

Anybody have any idea why I'm getting this warning?

I guess nobody else is seeing this warning. I fine it hard to believe I'm the only person running Windows 8 pro that is seeing this warning.

You're not the only 1. I also have the same warning in windows 8 with Acer 10 pt. touchscreen. Homebuilt Intel I7, Intel SSD, Intel DX79SR board. Acer support is no help if all functions are working. Windows8 event viewer still registers warning. Waiting for Acer to register with Microsoft to fix warning events.PMG
