win 8 and bootcamp ???

Ok I had a problem with the demo of win 8 and bootcamp in that the CD/DVD player wasn't recognized ( not showing in dev manager ) .
This problem was resolved somehow but I do not recall how !!! I have recently installed the pro version of 8 and I have the same problem .... ANYONE ???

Alright, a couple of possible solutions here.

Can you try this program? It is portable and it is designed for Windows 7, but it works perfectly fine in Windows 8:
