Start to find it very annoying, Windows Kernel Debug Network Adaptor change my NIC drivers for the wrong one, it can happen anytime, and my auto-update is turn off, so it,S not there. I never shutdown my PC , so it,S not when it reboot.

For no reason some oxymore at MS integrate that new thing, what is tha Debug Kernel NIC adaptor crap ? I have to Google more on it

I have 3 NIC, on my PC, 2 are onboard Intel , one is a 82579V and the other a 82583V, look at the screeny, for no reason Windows 8 swtich one for a LM instead of V , very weard an very annoying. I have never see before an OS change by himself a NIC drivers.

Finally find information ....what a crap , what a crap , when will be the release of Service Pack 1 ?

"Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community Forums.
I would suggest you to make sure debugging is turned off and check the status of the issue.
    a) Run this from an elevated command prompt:
    bcdedit /debug off
    b) If it’s still showing up, then you can disable it from the device manager without problems.

    Hope this information helps.

Microsoft aren't planning any more service packs, or so the rumour mill has it. Instead they will fulfil the same function through increased updating/patching via Windows Update.

Microsoft may kill Windows Service Packs

What a plain stupid idea not surprise it come from Steven Sinofsky...... Just imagine the guy or even worst a computer shop re installing Windows 8 in 2 years, with out service pack, it gone be way way more longer as you gone have too download all the updates.

Steven Sinofsky, president of the Windows division, has essentially stated as much on the Building Windows 8 blog:
"During the final months of Windows 8 we challenged ourselves to create the tools and processes to be able to deliver these 'post-RTM' updates sooner than a service pack," Sinofsky wrote. "By developing better test automation and test coverage tools ... Windows 8 will be totally up to date for all customers starting at General Availability."

what an idiot this guy, "challenge ourself" can wait the board fire him when they will realize the lost they make with their sales.

You don't challenge yourself to change thing that work well , may be he should chalenge to make more peoples hapy with the Desktop version of windows 8. I tell you since a long time, Sinofski is our problem.

Well, whatever you think of him is your business of course but that wasn't the only place I've seen that written about. The general idea of not having service packs in the future is a good one I feel as people often had major problems installing them, plus it meant that everyone had to start slipstreaming their installation media etc. I see no reason why the same job couldn't be done through updates.

But I guess time will tell.

It can be done true update yes, but the service pack was the best friend of Admin and Tech, this is the problem with Sinofsky team, they remove options in Windows 8 they don't have to. IF service pack is a problem for end users, good, just distribute the service pack as administrative install, they always have admin install so it's not new

To come back on the subject, Microsoft install a kernel debugger in our Windows 8..... are they selling US beta OS now ? I can't wait to go at their Montreal Office and ask them about it.
