Disable driver signature enforcement

From the Metro Start Screen, open Settings (move your mouse to the bottom-right-corner of the screen and wait for the pop-out bar to appear, then click the Gear icon).
Click ‘More PC Settings’.
Click ‘General’.
Scroll down, and click ‘Restart now’ under ‘Advanced startup’.
Wait a bit.
Click ‘Troubleshoot’.
Click ‘Advanced Options’
Click ‘Windows Startup Settings’
Click Restart.

I can't follow or use these steps because whenever I click on a Metro setting it just stays there, nothing happens, I don't get take to General or an Metro setting I want.

Please help.

I really need to disable driver signature enforcement on W8 RP x86

First, you only have about 6 weeks before the RP expires. Why not get the final version? Or at least use the 90 day trial, which will last longer.

Second, did you disable UAC? Many things don't work in Metro if you disable UAC.

Any specific examples? Just curious. I've had UAC turned off since day one and thus far I haven't encountered any Metro issues.

I disabled UAC the moment after I installed 8 RP, and really not planning on sticking to a limited trial which is basically timebombed, I'll just purchase 8 from a local retailer when I happen to have the money for it.
