USB 2.0 Not Working: Virtual Disk Manager

I cannot figure out how to fix my USB flash drive. It is recognized as a USB DISK 2.0 USB drive.
The model is an 8 GB Dane-Elec but the site says there isn't any drivers required. I can access it on my XP, Mac, and 7 PC's but not on my 8.

What does my USB have to do with a virtual disk?
Help is much appreciated!

UPDATE: Error still continuing, tested out on my work PC. It can be accessed.

Windows 8 is still not reading it.
