Hello people, first post/thread here...
So the thing is I updated to windows 8 (pro 64 bits) recently, coming from windows 7 ultimate. I decided to "keep files/apps and personal settings", so basically I just didn't do a clean install. The problem now is that my keyboard (sidewinder x4) multimedia keys are kinda ****ed up. I can't really mute, and volume keys go up and down like two times, its like I'm double pressing them, so the volume goes up by 2 everytime I click once the multimedia key (which is really annoying, and ofc didn't happen on windows 7), but what annoys me the most is the fact that I can't really mute the volume totally, for the same reason I suppose, since it double presses those keys, I believe it also double presses the mute key and hence, mutes and unmutes pretty much at the same time.
Before you say anything, yes, I did install latest drivers for win 8 (Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center), and I believe I unistalled the win 7 drivers...
So, is there anything I could do to solve this issue?
PS: Haven't tried the macro keys yet... so can't say if those work or not.
Thanks
