I am using an Acer T232HL bmidz 10-point touch screen monitor. I just upgraded to Windows 8 Pro for my desktop from Windows 7. I have searched through Google's pages and found many resources that show how to enable and disable touch screen on tablet devices by using the Control Panel and then going to Hardware and Sound and finally clicking on Pen and Touch.
Well, on the desktop version when I go to the control panel and enter the Hardware and Sounds section I do not have an option for Pen and Touch. I figured it might be due to out of date drivers for the monitor. Every time I go to upgrade the drivers I receive a message saying that my drivers are up to date. Does anyone know what I might be missing in order to get this desktop monitor touch enabled?
Also, when I search for the words "Pen" or "Touch" in the Metro area it returns no results. Thanks in advance and for and all assistance.
