Solved Philips SpeechMike Pro microphone does not function properly

My system is dual-boot (Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 8 enterprise-90 day evaluation)
The microphone (Philips SpeechMike Pro 6274) functions OK under Windows 7 but with Windows 8 it does not register any sound. Note that other functions on the microphone such as the tracker-ball and the "mouse" buttons do work normally.
Device manager shows no problems, a newer driver is not available (current driver is 6.2.9200.16384).
Please advise

I have à Philips speechmike pro 6274 and I had Windows XP
i am now with Window 7 and impossible to find the Driver.

Could you ask me where i can find it
