Change background without changing color scheme

Windows 8 has this irritating behaviour that makes it change the color scheme of all windows to one of the minor colors in the background.

Now don't get me wrong, I like pink, but when my background has a couple of pink flowers in an otherwise green background, I end up with a high intensity pink color scheme through out.

It there a way to disable this behavour, so that changing the background does not affect the color scheme at all? Like in Windows 7?

    thanks
    Tanya

    What's wrong with pink? lol

if you right click on desktop, got to personalize then go to the colour option towards the bottom. You can turn off automatic colour and chose one of your choice or even show the colour mixer for even more options. Doing this will stop the colours changing when the background changes and the windows will stay the colour you choose

The reason this is happening is you have Color Set to Automatic

Go to Personalize and click on Color and change the color to a single color
The first option is call Automatic.
