Turned off High contrast which has affected other themes

Hello!

Wondering if anyone could help. I turned on high contrast on my work computer when playing around with the different themes but now the other themes do not work properly.
I have clicked onto flowers and the task bar at the bottom of the screen is see-through and so is the top bar with the writing highlighted. If i am on a program and I close it, it still shows on the top bar. The main bar at the top also shows what ever program is running behind and if i minimize say chrome with a few open tabs and drag it around the screen it blurs and creates a trail of the open tabs.
Its very hard to explain and when i screen shot it it doesn't show :/
I have tried to system restore but this only goes back 2 weeks and this was done many weeks ago.
Any advice?
