Solved How to change CharmBar colors on windows 8.1

Hello everyone

I have being looking for a while on how to change the color of the CharmBar, but couldn't find anything on how to change it.
The only way i founded to change the color is when using high resolution themes but not when using windows 8.1 themes (thanks to the elimination of the advanced coloring option on personalization).
Also i have tried editing on the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\Colors
​

but still no effect.

Any free 3rd party tool or registry edit will do. Thanks in advanced

You are talking about black back round of entire charms bar ? If so do not think this is possible without some third party app.

I had already seen that thread, in fact was one of the first i tried
It changed a part of the bar which is nice, but it didn't change this black:

Yes, looks like it is bigger unless it's the screen capture you took, i only know as most do how to change color within the start logo in charms bar. As told in research you probably need some third party software to do this. Even try using themes free ones online. Paid products, but look through this site Stardock Corporation

i had already took a look to decor8, but is not what i was looking for (and is paid ) but anyways, i think i'll get used to it.

Not so bad have it black, mean only time you see it is when you mouse over to it. Windows 10 is coming with changes. Your welcome, anytime !!
