I'm on Windows 8.1 and I use a Bing app to change my lock screen at timed intervals but it stopped working. I tried to change the lock screen manually and it just hangs on the loading circle.
I've tried multiple suggested fixes from around the internet to no avail and much frustration. I am currently in the SystemData folder (and I keep losing ownership of the folder, is this supposed to happen?) then the S folder with the long name, then ReadOnly. There are two folders, Lockscreen_C, which is where the current lockscreen photo is, but every time I try to change it with the app, a new folder called Lockscreen_D appears with the desired changing photo, but the app still gives the error and the photo does not appear.
I've tried deleting the SystemData, renaming it and this doesn't work. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to know.
