How to remove Win explorer reference to non existing drive

    Hi,

in my Windows 8.1 'save to' dialog box I have this reference to a drive 'E'. There used to be this drive (partition) called 'E', but it has been removed and now I wish to remove this reference.

    Hereby a pic:

How can I get this reference removed? Getting into the registry is fine with me.

Thanks in advance and kind regards, Siso

I see that now and then when I've had clients' computers connected to my Network while doing repairs then removed and returned to them. I usually just right-click and delete.

thanks for your reaction. I tried that (after reading your post), but that does not seem to work for me. There is no rightclick option to delete this reference.

    Any other suggestions?

    Regards, Siso
