I tried to run the IE Metro app on my EEE PC, which has a desktop resolution of 1024x600.
It won't run because it says the desktop resolution is too small. I can't increase the resolution any more via the graphics driver options.
However, the rest of Windows 8 works fine on this machine.
Is there a way I can turn this restriction off (registry, computer management?) so that the apps will launch? I don't care if they look a little uglier, but I'd like to use them on this system.
Or is there a way to fool the graphics card and choose a higher resolution that would just meet the minimum desktop requirement to launch Metro apps (1024x768?)?
