Change Window BG and Font Color

White background on everything is atrocious. It is hard on the eyes.

What happened to the color options?

Changing window border color is merely complementary. The main issue is the horrendous state the other 90% of the screen is stuck in.

I demand an explanation for this.

I demand an alternative means of changing this ridiculous UI to something usable.

Windows 10 better be an improved version of 7, because if it wasn't a requirement for developing for windows phone there would be zero reason to install this garbage.

    Thanks for helping!

Hello Churf, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Other than using some 3rd party skinning program for Windows, you could use a high contrast theme to be able to change the color of the window background and fonts.

Themes - Switch Between in Windows 8

Step 7 here: Window Color and Appearance - Change in Windows 8

    Hope this helps,
