So i'm having an issue where my cover photo and profile picture won't change on my laptop (aka lockscreen). The pictures currently on my lockscreen were my old cover photo and profile picture on facebook, and have since changed on facebook. I uninstalled and then re-installed facebook. I made sure profile sync was turned off and everything. Now, I changed my profile picture for microsoft, and that worked, except on the lockscreen page it is the same old facebook picture.
With the lockscreen wallpaper, it will not let me change it at all. In the personalization settings, it will let me browse for a picture, but will not load the preview.
I have tried everything. I've spent two days on the forums trying to figure this out. I have done the sfc /scannow several times. I have checked for virus. I checked to see if the new update messed with it, and I couldn't find the exact update everyone else was referring to; it didn't exist on my computer. The only thing that worked at all was when I did the registry editor, and disabled the lockscreen altogether. (computer>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>POLICIES>MICROSOFT>WINDOWS) I didn't have a personalization file, so I made one and added the NoLockScreen option and set the hexadecimal value to 1 to turn the lockscreen off.
Now the issue, I would like to have a lockscreen. I do not care is it is my facebook profile and cover picture at all, I am just getting very aggravated by the constant picture that I have to see every time I log on. PLEASE HELP!
