Does it have an "Auto" button on it ?
Probably near the tiny "on" light.

Press it, once, & wait a few minutes & reboot to see if the error message is gone.

    Mine has a button too.

When I first set up my computer, my screen was all messed up.
I pressed the "Auto" button & my display got fixed.

    It might fix yours.
