I'll be much obliged if anyone has any suggestions. Thank you.

Yes Sir, like that. I want to achieve a straight line of icons.

Plus I see you are also running W10, as you can see my notification icons are quite far apart unlike yours, was yours by default or did you do it somehow. Mine was a clean install, running it on dual-boot with W8.1
    Thank you.
Edit: Also, is there a way to open File Explorer in Libraries or This PC instead of Home. And any way of removing home?

    1. Right click the entry/link in the navigation pane►choose Rename►press and hold Alt►enter 0160 on the numeric keypad►release Alt►press Enter.

    2. Not sure about your icons...

    3. You could pin This PC to the taskbar

Thank you Sir, I will try that and report back.
I solved the other problem. I had to shorten the date.
    Will try and report back.
    Thank you so much.
Edit: No rename option for Home(in W10), Library or Favorites.

Sorry, you can't name them all 'blank', it won't let ya! My bad, sorry bout that. I think the last time I changed them all, I just gave them letters or or short names like Pics, Vids, etc.

Maybe a reg key method. I am sure I have seen it in a custom theme. Can't remember the name of the theme or the developer's name.
    Thank you.
