    Just Stumbled On This...

... Disable Start and Apps Screens!

DO NOT take this seriously, I just stumbled upon this messing around!
I have no idea what the repercussions are but I simply moved all app shortcuts to new folders in their respective directories; essentially removing all apps from both screens.

(Don't try this at home kids!)

    Hey Edwin,

Doing that essentially breaks the modern apps, and have them not show up on the Apps screen anymore. You'll probably notice that you may not be able to open PC settings either if you moved or deleted it's shortcut as well.

Yeah, definitely disables a lot of things although PC Settings is the only 'Modern' App I have left on my machine and it only opens Control Panel.

I probably shouldn't be broadcasting all this 'hackin' but I'm finding out some interesting stuff about the whole immersive UI.

My apologies Shawn, if you feel you should delete this thread, go ahead!

So... besides crippling all 'Modern' apps it basically hides or disables the Start and Apps Screens' functionality or renders them to a 'dormant' state, (except for the background).
All native elements seem to function properly, however, I didn't experience any palpable benefits so maybe it was an exercise in futility albeit fun and interesting!
    All fixed now though!

(Kinda weird seeing the 'NEW' tag next to PC Settings!)
