How can I remove Videos from Libraries in navigation pane

I have no need for the Videos folder in the windows 8.1 Library so would like to remove it from the file explorer navigation pane.
I have tried deleting it but it keeps coming back. I have removed it using the Manage option but it still re-appears.

    Can anyone help me.

    Thanks

    Hello Jan,

You can set the library to "Don't show in navigation pane".

The tutorial above will show you how to hide the Video library so it will not show in the navigation pane anymore. It won't remove the navigation pane itself.

I have followed your instructions and Videos has been removed from the Libraries list in the navigation pane. However if I click on Libraries, Videos still shows in the right hand pane and nothing seems to remove it.

    Can it be removed?

    Thanks

As long as nothing is set to save to the Video library to cause it to be recreated, deleting the Video library should have removed it.

Does it return after doing any specific action?

Hi, I can remove Video from the libraries list in the navigation pane following your instructions and it stay's removed.
The Video icon in the right hand pane can be deleted and it disappears but only for a second and then it re-appears and causes the Video entry in libraries to re-appear also.
As far as I am aware there is nothing set to save in Video...I have never used it in any way.

See if removing all folders in the Video library first, then deleting the Video library may help it to stay deleted.

If the above still fails. Maybe this will work:
    1. Delete the Videos Folder under C:\Users\YourUserName
    2. Download the attachement and double click to merge the registry
    3. Sign out and sign back in
