I've heard about it, I know you can do on it 7 & Vista as I've successfully done it. But whenever I attempt it on Windows 8, I get this error:

Unhandled exception has just occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application willignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quite, the application will close immediately.

Access to path 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\WDSA\' is denied.

No matter what I click, it doesn't do anything and DreamScene doesn't work. How can I succesfuly install DreamScene for Windows 8?

Error Details:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Using two programs that modify audio.
    1: Viper4Windows for better sound quality and bass regulations and that.
    2: MorphVOX Pro to modify the voice and use soundboards.
That's a shame. I wonder why it hasn't been updated?

I have actually installed that software in the past, but it uses a lot of memory (which I really can't afford) and a notice keeps popping up down the bottom every "x" minutes telling you to purchase the full version. In addition, you can only use certain features of the program so it isn't ideal.

Thanks very much for your help, but do you know of any other ways?

If you're looking for a FREE option, sorry. Perhaps someone else might have an answer.
I use video wallpapers all the time. Deskscapes is one option.
It also works on the start and apps screens in 8.1

The amount of CPU and memory use depends on the video. Unfortunately, Deskscapes is not free.
To reduce CPU and memory use it can be paused (a maximized window can be set to pause it)
or turned off by changing to static wallpapers.
Hope this helps.
