    This is a bit better.....

I threw some colour in, and started experimenting with the tiles.

    Kat,

How are you doing that with a Trial version? Non activated Windows 8 blocks access to Start settings.

It is activated, for 90 days only.

It calls home to MS on initial install, and activates automatically, no key needed.

    And all legal....:-)

But it will die end November, and cannot be re-activated or upgraded.....:-(

That with the Explorer links tiles, seen on the right, is a very good idea Kebero.
I'll make that here as well.

    Thanks

    Right...

This arrangement works very well, the tiles are arranged with the most used ones to the left.

I sometimes feel like I'm the only one who uses Win+R and shutdown /r /t 0 or shutdown /s /t 0 instead of creating shutdown and reboot tiles (I did the same in WIN7).

    How? In the run window?
I believe you. If this is faster than clicking for some, I've seen that in action. I just use shortcuts.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the run window, along with CTRL+SHIFT+ESC for the task manager, WIN+pause/break for system properties, and other hotkeys. That's probably why the Windows 8 UI doesn't bother me (that, and I use a Windows Phone 7 device).

Just installed RTM Enterprise, added with Office Preview 2013. Run nicely on my Fujitsu LH531 no issue with drivers, just like WRP.

But, I don't see any differences in it except more decorated start screen.
