    Mine...

    Windows 8.1 Pro w/WMC 64-bit.

Pic was taken by me on Sydney Harbour in 2011, from the famous Manly ferry.

Ship is the 'Southern Swan', out of Sydney.

    Hope you like.

My own desktop created in Photoshop CS6.. It's rare I do the mirrored abstracts, but I liked the way it came out so I just went with it.. And yes, I like my bar at the top lol

Nice, Jarminx. The taskbar at the top suits it nicely.

I've always preferred my taskbar at the bottom, but did run it on the right-hand-side for
a while in XP, set to auto-hide. It's good to have the choice.

A sudden thought... could that be the reason that the Charm bar popping in and out from
the right of the screen doesn't annoy me as much as it seems to do to some? Simply the
fact that I was already somewhat used to fi-fo toolbars on the right?

    Cheers!

I don't know what to call the old desktop since the tile version is called Metro. But when working on the old desktop version and you want to clear everything off the screen and just view the desktop, where is the button for this? XP had this button, but cant find it on W8.
