Click image for larger versionStandard Windows 8.1 Shell. The text in the top right corner are rainmeter shortcuts, for Applications and Games. Everything is set to auto hide, including task bar.

I have some issues with Windows 8.1 Shell, the biggest one being unable to change title bar text color, which can be problematic with dark title bar. I have tried using alternative Shells in the past, but they have been problematic. Most of them were designed with Windows 7 in mind and so lack adequate support.

Currently Bioshock Infinite on the main monitor, Life of Brian on the second...both are in rotation. Using Stardock Fences to hide icons and Start8 for the start button.

Hey, download UX Style and install. Then download this Deviant Art Theme and it will make it so you can use dark colors for everything and white text will be used instead of the black making it much easier to read! I have that on my computer right now and it works great.

Thanks boss. Looks nicer now, although it feels a bit too "pop". Maybe that will wear off.Click image for larger version

Show desktop icon when working on old desktop
I don't know what to call the old desktop since the tile version is called Metro. But when working on the old desktop version and you want to clear everything off the screen and just view the desktop, where is the button for this? XP had this button, but cant find it on W8.
