Solved How To Hide Window Titles in TaskBar?

Hi, i'd like to see only icons for open windows in the taskbar. Is this possible?

I tried this method found elsewhere, but did not work: adding
Min Width 56

to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

In Taskbar Properties, Taskbar Buttons, I have Always Combine:Hide Labels.

I don't know. I'd try some 3rd party Taskbar Tweaker.

personal preference. i want to see all the windows. When combined, you cannot tell how many are open, at least i cannot.

answer found here. Works on Win 8, too.

needed to set MinWidth to 40 if using small icons.
