Customize Logon/Sign In Screen?

Has anyone yet figured out how to customize (add an image) to the Windows 8 Logon/Sign In screen? I do not mean the "lock" screen, which I have disabled. I mean the actual logon screen. The plain color background is so boring and ugly. WTF was Microsoft thinking?

Any and all replies appreciated.

I'm always tryin to figure out how to manipulate anything but no luck there, (yet)
On the other hand, you're only lookin at that screen for a few seconds so it's kind of a waste of time.

Thank you for the welcome! Just got a new laptop with Windows 8 and found the Metro UI stupid and ugly. Doing everything I can to make it look and behave like Win 7. I know the Sign In screen is only there for a short time, but it still BUGS ME! I am hoping somebody will eventually figure out a way to hack that...
