How do I change the login screen image? (NOT lock screen)

So I disabled the lock screen as it's just another unnecessary click to login, but what I want to be able to do is customise the background image of the login/ctrl+alt+del screen. I know you can change the "accent" colour but I don't want to use a solid colour. How do I go about this?

So DisplayFusion is the only solution? Seems like a bit overkill just for one thing

It sits quietly in the notification area and just uses ~10 MB RAM (0 cpu) on my 32 bit machine.

I'm sure there is manual way to do it, if you research or hack stuff, but this is surely the easiest.

Tried DisplayFusion, the option to change the login screen does not work at all, it still shows the normal colour

    It worked for me.

DisplayFusion uses the same installer for both the Free and the Pro version. If you don't enter a license key during the installation, you'll get an automatic 30-day trial of the Pro features.
The login window feature is enabled in the 30-day trial of the Pro version.

That's the lock screen, not the login screen, which, by the way, can be easily changed without third party software

    THIS is the login screen:

    This is the lock screen:

The lock screen does not display the username whilst the login screen does not display things like the date and time.
My lock screen is completely disabled leaving only the login screen. They are two different things.
