Theme Icons still there after uninstalling theme

IDK what this post should go under, so I decided Help and Support would be nice.

You see, I installed a MAC OSX theme for my Windows 8.1 and then I hated it so I uninstalled it.

But it left icons.

After COMPLETELY uninstalling it (I promise!) I removed EVERYTHING but still the icons were there!

I tried doing the refresh icon cache thing and everything I've read online but didn't seem to work.

Please help!

Right Click Command Prompt > Run as administrator

When the command prompt window opens type: sfc \scannow and hit enter.

It will take a little time, when finished scanning, type "exit" without the quotes and reboot, upon restart your default icons should all be back.

If you installed something like UxTheme patcher or the likes to install 3rd party themes you may have to reinstall it after you reboot.

sfc /scannow

not sfc \scannow

Also try:

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

in administrator command prompt. :)
