Metro app to show info from website on tile

I try to develop a metro app (html5, javascript) which is a link to a website (for example motogp.com · Espargaró: "Aprilia will be the bike to beat among the CRTs"). On the tile I would like to show te latest news item so that I don't visit the website when nothing has changed.
Is there a way to achieve this?
