Using this brilliant program called Resources Extract, I can extract icon files from EXE or DLL files.
I'm having difficulty, however, finding the icons from external hardware and media (for example, the .ico icon for my Nokia Lumia 1020).
Many of the default device icons are located here: C:\Windows\System32\DDORes.dll
But I can't find where other device and printer icons are located (the closest thing I found was C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceMetadataCache\dmrccache\en-US where I found my webcam and Xbox 360 controller icons, but still couldn't find my Lumia 1020 icon).
Does anyone know where I can find these icons?
