Either you're showing the arrow or all the icons, I have not found a way to hide it.

Welcome to the Eight Forums

If you feel up to it you can edit the .msstyle with a resource hacker and edit the image making it transparent.
I would suggest that you would start a new custom theme so you do not corrupt the original look at Post #38 Here it will show you how(that is Windows 7 but it would be the same way in Windows 8)

This would be creating a custom theme then and you would have to do the following:

Download UxStyle_Core For Windows 8 and later operating systems
UxStyle
Turn off UAC http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/5509-user-account-control-uac-change-settings-windows-8-a.html reboot, install UxStyle reboot.

To give you the correct image numbers I will need you to go to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero folder and get a copy of the aero.msstyles and put it in a zip folder and post it here.

If it seems too hard I could do it for you and post it here.

Let me know.

Thank You for Your hard work i really appreciate it;however it doesn't work for me.
This is how it looks when i press tray arrow:
1.png
And this is how it looks when i bring some window to front(for example Presonilization):
2.png
As You can see arrow itself is still white and the window border has changed to black.
Is there any chance to correct it?Or did i do something wrong?
Thanks yet again.

If you're talking about hiding your taskbar, all it's icons and arrow to customize the active icons, it's easy.
Is this what you want at the bottom of your screen? Nothing. Until you move your mouse down there.
Just right click your taskbar & select Properties
Check Auto-hide my taskbar
Click OK

You can hide it.

Open the notification area from the arrow and click customise, or go through the Control Panel - notification area.
Click the item at the bottom "Always show all icons..etc." and then OK.

I tried it in both Windows 8 and 8.1 and I don't get the arrow.
And you can change the black border just like any theme with Windows Color.

Are you sure you put the theme folder in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes?

Please post a screenshot of C:\Windows\Resources\Themes for me.
