Unable to load the file extension of .themepack.

    Hi all,

I have a problem recently after I refreshed my file extension list. Now, my .themepack won't load the themes into personalisation settings. Instead, it loaded me desktop icon settings.. This is not the first, in fact almost all files that have .themepack extension.

In order to load, I would have to load manually; which involved copying the files into directory of "AppData/Local/..."

Any help will be appreciated. I have attached a screenshot for reference purpose.

    Thanks

Hell Jeff, and welcome to Eight Forums.

You might see if merging the .reg files for the listed .theme and .themepack options in the table of the tutorial below may be able to help with this. It will restore their default associations.

Default File Associations - Restore in Windows 8

    Hope this helps,
