    New Start Screen Toolbar

Hello. If interested, there's another way to customize your start screen.
A start screen dock. Bing or Google start screen dock.

What do you mean? The basic Google/Bing dock? I recommend using Stardock Object Dock or any other third party Docklet for Windows like RocketDock. They have a variety of Icons, Docklets, Customization options and Settings.

/ @mdmd Windows 8/8.1 comes with Modern U.I(Metro). Personally, I love Metro in Windows 8.1. What's the point in using Docklets? ^_^

EDIT: Wait, stop! YOU REMOVED MODERN U.I(METRO)? O.o

Hello. no no... Just wanted to play nice and not seem to be ...... something.
The program can be found by doing that mentioned search.
It is not a Bing or Google bar.

I have desktop docks available as well. The start screen dock is nice because it offers fixed position resizable tiles at the bottom center (or top center) of the screen.

As far as tiles go, ... it has been an up and down experience. Sometimes I like them, sometimes I prefer other methods. However, my preference, since it is a new program, is to place a few metro apps and Win32 apps into the dock at the bottom center. It cleans up the start screen and does what I like.

For the start screen itself, ...
it is still there, in its full glory, available by pressing a key to list anything from All Apps.

What's the point in using (start screen) Docklets?
It is a fixed position - bottom center (or top)

I see, thanks for the info! I bet a 100 Smiley bucks that there are people who'll love it! I mean, it's an interesting option. ^ ^

"(...)Just wanted to play nice and not seem to be ...... something." - Well said, Maestro.

Yea, sure. It's an up and down experience-, myself, I just like using tiles( Obly Tile is of great help). I don't criticize Microsoft for their Modern U.I idea, I actually love it. It's fresh, yea, and Microsoft has still a lot to do. It's a better experience on Windows 8.1 tho~.
What I want is a TASKBAR REMOVER. >.< Yea, since I'm in love with Modern U.I I want the task-bar to DISAPPEAR, so I can use a Docklet of my choice( RocketDock/ObjectDock). There's just no point in keeping the task-bar alive. There still are lots of desktop apps, but the Taskbar itself is a No-Go. Whenever I see it I'm like What the Fluff?!

Tell me, wasn't Microsoft Dock introduced on Windows 7? I was unaware of its existence until you reminded me of it.

I never even heard of Microsoft Dock. But then, I was so annoyed by the Windows 7 start menu that I did not use 7 much. Used shell replacements often. You probably already know this > (should be able to "auto-hide" the taskbar) or replace it with something else. Winstep has a taskbar (and start menu) replacement shell. Installing Winstep does not affect the metro UI. Winstep has an option to disable the taskbar. Sometimes I use NextStart so that the menu can be moved to the center or right side of the screen. (it can float) WorkShelf is an older style system for the desktop.

I must admit to falling a little behind here since Server uses the original Windows 8 style metro (and start screen). Windows 8.1 search is a little different offering options on the right side of the metro screen while it is necessary to go to All Apps to get a full screen search listing result. Over the past year and a half, many have made it quite clear that a full screen search result listing is unacceptable to them but I like and appreciate it.
