Changing to a windows 7 type interface

I know I may get shouted at for this, but I cannot get to grips with the new interface, I liked XP and Win7, easy to use and self explanatory. this new interface, which has some good points just confuses the hell out of me. So, gentle kind people, how can I set it to give me the normal user friendly Win7 type interface please?
