Looking at your screenshot, I think the border issue is the least of your worries at this point because RegSeeker is one of the most dangerous registry cleaners ever created (especially in the hands of a novice if that applies). I hope you didn't run it already on auto-clean. And, that version you displayed is not compatible beyond Windows XP.

I still have it from a previous win7 install & I know the consequences of running registry cleaners, too many
registry cleaners exist nowadays & many coders have pretended to know what they're doing by offering such
tools, I ended up with issues like losing my eml association with wlm, compatibility issues with framework, etc

i'm aware of the dangers of reg cleaners, I have 1 years of computer experience..

but it still can be useful to selete some classic temp reg references.

I haven't runned it on win8 & I decided to leave the registry untouched even if it grows
as time goes by which can be an issue, but for now, it's safer to leave it untouched, there
are effectively too many surprises in the end by using those special tools coded by special
coders who usually know what they're doing .. .

my win8 is a clean install, so I don't have issues with win8, it's rather a problem with the new ui
or a missing reg reference that was removed during the new os improvement (classic Microsoft downgrades) ...... .

Is your screen resolution set to default?

there's no such thing like a default screen resolution in win8 sardonicus, the resolution for my system meets my actual screen size..

& now justatest, I know why I can't enlarge my quick launch icons too, I am missing the view/large/small icons in the deskbar context menu, which is present in previous os's .. .

another super Microsoft downgrade "revolution" ....... .
