Creating wide tiles

Hello guys.

I'm here since I need some help to customize wide tiles on Windows 8.1.
Well, given that Oblytile can't make wide tiles at the moment I'm using Tile Genie.
But here is the problem : Tile genie can only open website links and, moreover, through his interface (to open a google.com page Tile Genie "lunches itself" ...)
I've also try StyleTile (in the store) but it's like Tile Genie, it lunches the application and then redirects ...

So, is there a way to reassign a tile (created with Tile Genie for example) in order to directly open a folder without going through the app which made it (like oblytile does in fact) ?

Although I haven't tried it yet, I thought Win 8.1 gave your the ability to create and resize tiles. So, if that is true, why don't you just create a tile for the folder you want to access and resize it?

Because it's impossible to resize that kind of tile with the wide/large option (only 2 options available : small and medium).
Moreover, I wouldn't be able to change the image of that tile.

So, is there no way to do this ?

There is, but involves programing, I'm searching how to do it, if I'm successful I share the codes and the instructions of the basic (change the directory that you want to open and the picture of the tile)

Feel funny responding to a thread with no activity for 7 months.
Oblytile version 0.9.7 (in 8.1) can make HUGE tiles with any image you care to use.
