I am a Newbie, hello to everyone and I am not a techie or a programmer. In Windows 7 and you click on Windows Explorer down the left side where the drives are shown and many other things you were able to show the Recycle
Bin an also empty it from the same place.
Now with Windows 8 it looks like Office and when you want to see the bin it is very small on the top
left side. I know from the help and from a book called Windows 8 Step by Step that you can enlarge the Icon.
Does anyone know if the Icon can be shown where the drives and other things like network etc are shown and then enlarged? I do not know if anyone else has a preference for the Icon being there but at 67 and glasses ig gets a bit tiring with it being so small. Thank you for any help you can give.

Here is a Link to a tutorial here on the Eight Forums that should help. . .it does work just used it on my system and now have the "Recycle Bin" in Explorer (File Manager). . .Good Luck. . .
Hi Lee,
Thank you for the welcome and thank you very much for the information. It took only about 1min to get it done. If I may could you tell me how to enlarge the icons that are in the same place. Like enlarge the Recycle bin Icon? Thanks again.

Glad to see that you have the problem fixed. As to enlarging the Icon within Explore I just haven't found a way to do this (doesn't mean there isn't. . .just haven't found a way). While do a search I came across this article which might help a bit, albeit I didn't read all the way through the article just did a fast look through. . .hope it might help. . .
Then click apply and log out or reboot if needed (recommended to reboot for all items to resize correctly).
That will be better for the eyes since all items are larger in scale and the good thing is that you can always reverse back to normal if you don't like the settings (to go back go to 100% again).
